Advertising & Your Privacy (Australia and New Zealand)

This page adds to our Privacy Policy and explains how we use your information for advertising, and your privacy rights in Australia and New Zealand.

Customer-list matching
If you have agreed to receive marketing from us, we may share your email address or phone number with Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google in a scrambled (hashed) form. They use it to match you to an account so we can show you relevant ads, or so we can stop showing you ads you don’t need, such as for something you’ve already bought. Meta and Google delete the hashed details after matching. If you unsubscribe from our marketing, we stop including you in future uploads.

Your ad choices
You can turn off personalised ads in your Facebook ad preferences and Google ad settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser.

Your privacy rights in Australia and New Zealand
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988) and New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020. You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing tiff@minnieandminty.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.

Complaints
Please contact us first and we’ll try to resolve your concern within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or New Zealand’s Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
